Styled Shoot at Braeside Estate
Back in March, we had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with the talented team at Ivy & Bleu Events as well as Zali Photo & Film to celebrate the launch of Braeside Estate’s breathtaking new bridal suite. Tucked away in the heart of the Gold Coast, this enchanting restored homestead, originally built in 1897, has been lovingly reimagined into a serene and sophisticated sanctuary where brides can prepare for their most unforgettable day.
The estate’s new bridal suite is a harmonious blend of heritage charm and modern refinement, perfectly poised to become the backdrop for countless cherished wedding memories. Its soft, light-filled interiors and a purpose-built dress reveal room create an ethereal setting that elevates every moment, from the quiet anticipation of the morning prep to the iconic ‘gown hanging’ shot that belongs in every bride’s scrapbook and will surely be admired by future generations.
To honour the launch, The Veil Collective’s owner and creative director Jess V joined forces with Boutique Manager Charlotte to style two standout gowns from our treasured boutique collection. The first, Protea by Alena Leena, embodied sculptural romance with its dramatically modern silhouette, punctuated by subtle vintage-inspired corsetry and a defined waistline. This gown was an effortless reflection of the estate’s modern heritage allure, a perfect marriage of timeless elegance and contemporary edge.
For the second look, the Caramelle Mini by Romanova Atelier injected a breath of playful glamour into the day. Cascading 3D floral motifs and a frothy tulle hem captured the spirit of a bride who is ready to celebrate and have fun after the formalities, bringing a fresh and joyful energy to the suite’s refined atmosphere.
The day itself was a seamless blend of creativity, laughter and vibrant energy, the kind of buzz that only happens when passionate creatives come together with a shared vision. Ivy & Bleu Events infused the shoot with style and an infectious atmosphere with glasses clinking in celebration and an undeniable joy that made each frame feel alive. Between gown twirls, spontaneous laughter and moments of genuine connection, the bridal suite transformed from a mere space into the very heartbeat of the celebration.
It was a day to remember, one that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Braeside Estate’s bridal suite: a place where dreams are styled, memories are made and every bride can feel truly seen.
